Bc points show so much about a players defensive ability and transition ability (both just as important as offensive ability) and tbh, they don't really even show that much about offensive ability, they could be carried or dragged down by their linemates, and they also don't account for GP or TOI at all

I wasn't being condescending, I was introducing the idea of using the eye test along with the relevant stats to come to an opinion on a player. I'm all for using the stats you're talking about to support opinions - I also like to see the little areas of the game that players excel in that might not make their GF/60 go up or their GA/60 go down, or understand why a player might have a great xGF% if they're not thought of as a great player - y'all are just out here on people's throats every time I come across a post like this.
