Why are people all willing to trade Primeau, yes he is talented, will be Montreal's next starter, has great potential. Give him a couple years to shine and take 30 games as Price's back up next year. We all know that Price is great but has been fragile at times. His next knee injury could be his last. If he gets hurt then what, Montreal has no goalie left if you trade Primeau. He is one that should be untouchable for now. At least not for a Rental. There is no way Hall Signs with Montreal so why give up anything at all for him.

Every time I see a Primeau trade I think back to when Vancouver had Luongo and Schneider, they played that right and ended up getting 9th overall for Schneider. I think Bergevin has a similar plan in mind

I actually don't think NJ accepts this. I think they can find better for a sign and trade Hall.. even though I think a sign and trade has a slim chance of happening

Yeah depending on who you ask. I am sure the majority would put him in that 4-5 range. I honestly think NJ needs defence prospects more than goalie prospects. Blackwood is only 22 and is starting to play better. He has the potential to be a good starter in this league. I just could see them preferring D prospects over goalie prospects.

MTL have Josh Brook but since Weber have a long contract and Petry might walk as a UFA, we'll keep him smile
