Big L unless theres an extension and even then. Wait until free agency and then pursue him, because I doubt something like Chiasson, a second, Samorunkov, and another prospect get it done. There's going to be alot of teams interested and so while this might be what gets it done, its not a good idea

Trading Nurse now actually solves a cap problem that could come up this year. IMO he’s really good but a bit overrated for what he does out there, he’s about to get Paid!

I agree as far as cap. Cap wise he makes sense to trade, although i'd rather move JP in a different trade, maybe Chiasson or Mcleod instead. Honestly I'm just not convinced that Hall coming back is a good idea although it does make for one scary top 6. You'd need an extension in place for sure. I think Broberg is a few years away still and I like both Nurse and Klefboom, some games Nurse is better, sometimes Klefboom is but Klefboom has the advantage of the pp with Connor and Leon as he usually gets out with the first unit. idk its tough to part with a package like that especially since Hall didn't work out his first time in Edmonton, I'm not sold on bringing him back but especially not at the cost of sacrificing core pieces of the current group.

Bringing Hall back would remind me a lot of what Phil Kessel was in Pittsburgh, a real strong secondary scorer. He would most likely be on the second line with Nuge and get the easier minutes with lots of powerplay. Really ideal spot for him to be in. I do think it’s a lot to give up especially Nurse but as far as upside goes you’ve got enough left side defenders coming in the next few years that now might be the time to cash in.

If I thought that New Jersey would take that trade instead absolutely I would keep Nurse and trade Larsson

I'd take out JP at least a different prospect should still get the trade done, hopefully can do Larsson instead of Nurse. I guess as long as you lock Hall up it makes sense but if its just a rental you're no further ahead because the blueline is weakened. I really want to know the locker room situation if there was a problem and how it's going to be different now

Agreed, that was a brutal locker room for a long time. What would you want for a return in a trade with Pujujarvi?

a second or third ideally with a struggling prospect or role player. Players like Mcginn, Gauthier, Connor brown, Howden or Andersson, then probably a third is more realistic but even then might not get that. Not sure what Ken wants exactly. Those players i mentioned i kind of doubt can get a second or third with one of them. Also my offer for Hall without an extension in place: Samorunkov, Gagner/Chiasson either or and a 1st, might need to add another prospect tho
