Taylor Hall

Initial Creation Date: Nov. 17, 2019

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This would be a pretty solid and dynamic team.
The BIGGEST issue with all of this... is salary cap the following season, when many contracts will hit UFA and substantial salary increase expected.

Also, this whole Armchair GM is a guaranteed fail. Everyone has a different opinion. Even me, looking at that roster. I see many different approaches.

One approach would be to FORGET ABOUT HALL altogether, and coast through next season with smaller additions, and then secure the key players with long term contracts.

I thought Byron was some super key player for the Habs and now he's being traded for a 7th?
    What's that about? lol

He struggled out of the gate this season, not that big of a deal, and he’s injured now. I think the biggest concern is his contract length.

Yeah he's a cap dump, funny how Habs fans argued how good he was but they constantly traded him on this site.

He’s been a consistent 20g scorer for the past 3 seasons (he would of hit the 20g last season if it weren’t for his concussion).... so I’d argue that he’s still a good player. lots of Habs fans on here are just getting cold feet on his new contract with his slow start, add the fact that the injuries are mounting up too (specifically head injuries). I don’t blame Habs fans trying to move him. But yeah... at this stage he’s basically a cap dump until he can get healthy and put up his usual numbers.

A 20 goals scorer making 1.1M is a pretty good deal.
Now he’s doing nothing for 3.4M for 4 years. Byron is a top9 winger, but with is production/injuries, he lost alot of value. But Habs fan like this one have zero hockey knowledge, he’s the kind of person player NHL19 Gm mode at easy, trying to have a team of top6 forward lmao Lehkonen worth a 2nd + middle/late pick, but Bergevin will never trade him, he’s to valuable for is defensive play
