Description

Lindholm is never getting traded to the Oilers but he is exactly the type of player they need in the Top 6. He plays C or W, right-handed, plays in all situations, got some grit and plays two-ways. Contract is exactly in line too and this team can't afford any more 6M + forwards.

1 star for low effort, didn't even try to get the value right, just plain sad. My guess would be Nurse, 2020 1st unprotected, Benson, and probably another high pick or prospect

These are the exact reasons why all Marner for Lindholm + (like Hanifin or something) threads were quickly shot down. He's Marner for less than half rhe price

Maybe not exactly marner but they do the same thing, but Lindy's contract is WAY better

Just imagine if he was playing with Nuge on our 2nd line. That'd be deadly. 2 two-way forwards would probably be able to shut down the opposing team's first line while still getting 60 points a season! Too bad he's on the flames

Haha I know! Funny thing is, Peters was the coach in Carolina and couldn't seem to get him going there, but now that they both go to Calgary, he's playing his best hockey!

In the sense of contract per value yes, Drai is better obviously but Lindholm far exceeds his contract.

ooo I don't know about this one chief. While Lindholm got 78 pts in 81 games, I think Drai still exceeds contract value. first of all, outside of Ovechkin, nobody comes close to goal scoring. And secondly, Drai is arguably the best player in the league rn, and isn't even top 10 in salary. Lindholm is on a value contract but Drai is the ultimate value contract in the league.

there is no close value between EDM and CGY on a Lindholm trade imo. Literally nothing would be close being rivals and what not
