Edmonton has no interest in paying a 1st Round Pick for who would eventually be their 3rd line center. I'll pay him in the offseason sure, but I'm not giving the Senators anything more than a 2nd Round Pick and a B-prospect for him by the deadline. Some other team can overpay for him.

There is really no reason to move Ericsson he will retire at the end of the season and since Detroit currently doesn't have cap issues. There is no need to move him.

If you want Helm I'd do Helm for Klimchuk. Opening a roster spot a season early is good enough for me. Plus with the addition of Erne, Perlini and Fabbri there really isn't a need for Helm.
