The most unnecessarily complex trade that sort of makes sense

Description
I challenged myself to see how many teams I could get in one trade and still make it somewhat fair, why... I'm bored lol

To TOR Casey Desmith (retained 50% by OTT) 2020 3rd* (NYR) condition remains the same, pick is transferred to TOR if Fox plays more than 30 games with NYR Dylan Demelo

To OTT 50% Casey Desmith's salary, 2020 4th round pick (TOR) Patrik Puistola, Jeremy Bracco, Sam Poulin, 2020 7th (TOR)

To PIT 2021 4th round pick (TOR), 2020 2nd round pick (ANA)* if ANA doesn't make the playoffs it becomes a 2021 pick, if ANA doesn't resign Galch it becomes a third round pick of whichever year, depending on the previous condition, Anttoni Honka

To ANA TvR, Alex Galchenyuk, Cody Ceci, 2020 7th (WPG)

To CAR Andreas Johnsson, Filip Gustavsson

Team by team breakdown:
TOR gives up: Andreas Johnsson, Cody Ceci, Jeremy Bracco, 2020 7th (WPG), 2020 4th (TOR), 2021 4th (TOR), 2020 7th (SJS)
TOR receives: Dylan Demelo, Casey Desmith, 2020 2nd (NYR)

OTT gives up: Demelo, 600k cap space, Gustavsson
OTT receives: Puistola, Bracco, 2020 4th (TOR), 2020 7th (SJS), Poulin

PIT gives up: Galch, Desmith, Sam Poulin
PIT receives: 2021 4th (TOR), 2021 3rd (ANA), Max Jones, Anttoni Honka

ANA gives up: 2021 3rd, Max Jones
ANA receives: TvR, Galch, Cody Ceci, 2020 7th (WPG)

CAR gives up: TvR, Puistola, 2020 2nd (NYR), Honka
CAR receives: Andreas Jonsson, Filip Gustavsson

I believe that's all correct, I could be wrong though lol, I'd like to see someone else try to create a trade that makes sense for all sides and has at least five teams, or more than 19 pieces moving

On a side note, this has to be a record for most teams in 1 trade and most pieces moved in one trade if this were to happen right?

Impressive at the very least. I don't think Carolina has a lot of interest in this uber-deal seeing that they appear to be giving up a fair bit without actually taking back anything they really need.

Really cool idea, I'd be impressed to see how a deal like this would even begin to occur in real-life. NHL GMs tend to have the overall IQs of walnuts, so getting 5 of them to smash brain cells together long enough to come up with something like this would take a literal miracle. I'd hate to be working for the NHL offices and being the poor sod that has to process this.

It was a decent attempt but I don’t think it’s fair for Toronto or Pitt. They are giving up a ton and getting very little in return. Carolina has probably the fairest shake in terms of giving up equal value to what they receive. And anaheim would take this and run with it. They give up the least out of any team and get the most back.

At least from Toronto's perspective this trade is absolutely brutal

My logic was Ceci+7th=FC's (7th could be going the other way, does it really matter lol) 4th for Desmith, 4th for retention on Desmith, 7th Puistola and Bracco for Demelo, and 2nd and Puistola (immediately flipped) for Johnsson, idk, you might have been supposed to keep Puistola, idk tho
