It's interesting to see what the value of a return might be. Trading him away does send this team back and they're looking to win now.

Its absolutely stupid, the guy is really skilled but is in a slump yet still has 18 points in 23 games. There is obviously irritation in the dressing room but fans are overreacting like mad

I want to trade him but not because of his slump. He takes selfish penalties and proves night in and night out he isn't a winner

Agree with you, but I can't help but notice that Taylor Hall is originally from Calgary and Johnny Gaudreau is originally from . . .

Hahaha "slump,"My worry is that he's a season hero and then is too easy to push around in the playoffs. I was expecting more from him and Monny last playoffs. Although I was happy the Avs won. His first playoff run in 2015, he was great, he has yet to score since. While his return is high right now, a trade is not a bad idea to play with.

Where he grew in NJ is actually a lot closer to Philadelphia than Newark, New Jersey. I was thinking of Philly trades for Gaudreau. If they could swing a Couturier or a Konecny it'd be worth it. Value would have to be there too.

Flames and Oils dont make good trade partners for their stars (not they would trade if they were). Skill wise, Gaudreau isnt that far off Draisaitl but contract length makes the difference (drai is also stronger defensively and can play center).
