???? You know the trade makes no sense. If Holzer is as good or better than Ceci, the Ducks don't make the trade. If Ceci is better than Holzer, the Leafs don't do the trade. Gee, why trade Ceci, he's not the Leafs worse Dman.

Not saying this trade works but if both teams view the players as same quality but different styles then it could make sense. Holzer is a physical guy. I don’t watch Ceci enough to know how physical he is but a lot of the talk on here is about TOR getting more physical. That said I doubt this would happen.

I’ve hated some of Arlotti’s trades but this isn’t one of them. Leaf fans have been trading Ceci since he became a leaf and Holzer has the physicality they started to look for on here. The only reason his trade doesn’t work for the ducks is that once Manson returns they’ll be scratching a $4M Dman.

Based on what I have seen, Ceci is hardly an NHL dman or Babcock is not utilizing him correctly. He's far too expensive to be a 6/7, where Holzer is now. If Ducks made that trade, Toronto needs to sweeten the pot.
