My guess is that this isn't meant to be realistic, because it's very, very unlikely that Gaudreau is moved. In value, i'd say no from Calgary's side. Idk if Murray is even a huge upgrade over Rittich, and Galchenyuk and Kahun wouldn't be enough of a + in my opinion, especially because Galchenyuk is a UFA after the year. That's just my opinion, though.

I agree Calgary says no, because it’s easier to find goaltending then a star like Gaudreau, but, Murray is certainly a huge upgrade over Ritich

great, then we can end up like CBJ with no goaltending.

what a horrible idea.

its not meant to be taken seriously. like I said in the other comment, Calgary probably declines this. Murray is easier to replace than Gaudreau. If Jarry can be average for us, this trade would benefit Pittsburgh.

after watching MAF melt down in the playoffs year after year when we had great teams, I don't share your optimism.

Please dont say you dont know if Murray is better than Rittich. Muzz is leagues better than Rittich. He has two cups as a rookie and has had an above avergae GAA and sv% since returning from injury in 2018. I firmly believe Rittich Talbot duo cannot win the flames a cup. Muzz can take a team to a cup cuz hes already done it twice. not saying that makes this trade okay for flames cuz it doesnt but just defending my boy muzz smile

Its crazy how a guy who was a 100 point player last year and is on a very decent contract would even be mentioned in trade talks after 20 games the following season.
