Possible targets if Bjugstad gets traded

Team Explanation
This is totally based on others opinions I´ve read.

During their last game Malkin and Rust had a very good connection but do need a third link when Crosby comes back (He will play with Guentzel). The line with Kahun, McCann and Tanev did also play very well.

Galchenyuk hasn´t played well and is now playing in the 3rd line LW. Sometime ago I read a AGM which said he should be placed on RW instead.

I´ve not heard much about Simon. Has he played good/bad?

If Malkin/Rust and Kahun/McCann/Tanev stick together when Hörnqvist get healthy lines would look something like this.

Guetzel-Crosby-Galchenyuk/Bjugstad/Simon
OPEN/Galchenyuk-Malkin-Rust
Kahun-McCann-Tanev
ZAR-Blueger-Hörnqvist

The most realistic outcome is that they will keep playing Galchenyuk on LW but if that´s not working they will probably trade Bjugstad.

This is my suggestions on which players Pittsburgh may try to trade for if Galchenyuk is placed on RW with Crosby and 2nd line LW is open.

All this is maybe wrong but I would like to hear all your thoughts about it.

The only guy bjugstad is even remotely close to getting is Lehk. Not even close to anyone else.

No one wants him and his cap hit; especially not to give up the better player

Hard pass on Saad. Saad at $6M is a horrible contract.

Wings pass, AA is younger cheaper and way more upside.

laugh laugh Take far more then just Nick Bjugstad to get Andreas Athanasiou whom would've a long term extension attached to himself if traded. AA is worth far more then possibly 2 years worth of Bjugstad.

FWIW If AA is traded, It's going to be for someone much younger then Nick Bjugstad that's for sure.

If they trade Bjugstad they should hang onto that cap space. No need to rush out and spend it on another contract.
Create space, use it on a real difference maker.
Anything that isn't a guy on a rookie deal or expiring contract would seem like too much to be bothered with.

Saad has been one of the blackhawks two best forwards this year, if not their best
