Add Gilles or a 4th to the CGY trade and its probably pretty fair, only issue is convincing the Flames GM that retaining here is worth it (he's very stingy on paying players he doesn't own)

Are you sure you aren't forgetting a pick going from Chicago as well...? Seems like a steal for Bowman.

This trade makes sense to me. Shaw can play a bit physical which the leafs need. Chicago is trying to get some speed into their lineup. I could add like a second or 3rd to the deal from the hawks pov
