I would be reluctant to trade Jimmy before seeing what he can do. Trading unknowns like that could really hurt down the road. Sure, there's a much better chance that he's an average defensemen than he is a Norris candidate, but what if?

I'm kind of not seeing the point of this from a Habs perspective here. None of the pieces on either side are anything special so its nothing I'd be worried about if something like this did go through for example but just trying to look at why the Habs really do this.
