Description
Penguins add a more defensive defenseman on that right side who has had quite some injuries in the past. They reunite the Tanev brothers. Vancouver adds the more offensive RHD who can play on their point for the PP.

neither are bad in theory but I think Tanev has a good shot of resigning with VAN so they probably don't move him. ZAR is almost useless on our roster too.

Is Vancouver looking for an offensive dman? I think Hughes has alleviated that need. So I don't think Vancouver has much interest in this.

Christopher Tanev is no where near as good a hockey player as his brother, and this is a bad move.
It makes the defense worse.

Also pass for Detroit cause we aren't giving up picks for a player that makes 0 sense for the lineup. I'd trade one of those 3rds and a low level prospect for Jarry though

Agreed, We already have a Nick Bjugstad type player in Michael Rasmussen.
