Thanks for doing this, I kept hitting refresh on the main page because I was too lazy. tears of joy

Odd to me that they are just now putting Hagelin on LTIR, wish they would have done it a while ago. Also didn't hear anything about a Backstrom injury, wonder if the migraines are flaring up again?

They’re putting him now because they’re handcuffed by the salary cap and he is gonna be the one sacrificed. I’m all for letting the kids come up and battle though. Will be tough to miss backy.

The good news is that Eller elevates his play when he's in a top six role. I don't think he's a bona-fide top six player in general, but in short term assignments in the top six, he's done well. A good example of that is how well he performed when Backstrom was out injured with a broken finger in the 2018 cup run. That being said, it'll hurt not having Backstrom for scoring depth.
