I'd wager the following players would have to get injured and lost for the season for the Leafs to finish last.

Matthews, Nylander, Tavares, Rielly, and Andersen would all have to be injured for the remainder of the season. At that point, Dubas would likely move out guys like Muzzin and Barrie and plan for next season. Otherwise they'll definitely start playing better than they have been. Their luck has to change at some point.

Sheahan is a center, he is great in the faceoff circle. A tough, physically intimidating player with some grit is exactly what this Leafs team needs. I think Lafreniere should be on a line with Tavares and Marner.

I was thinking a fluid fourth line with Sheahan and Petan splitting Faceoff responsibilities when possible.

No, the team doesn't have any motivation. They will play to finish last.

Perhaps you should worry about your own team and stop sending terrible trade ideas to rile up leaf fans.

I live in Mississauga, so all we hear about is the Leafs.

i would imagine that if you live in the suburbs of a major city, you will hear a lot about that cities sports teams.

The leafs aught to trade the first overall pick for a backup goalie instead.

We don't have to finish last to win the lottery, we just have to miss the playoffs to have a chance as it's not guaranteed that the last-place team gets the 1st OA pick.
