Larsson isn't good. How about Ceci and a 3rd. I am sure you won't like that but unfortunately Hall for Larsson was a horrible trade, Larsson hasn't gotten better, he just isn't that good. You aren't getting a top 6 forward for him. Well you might, but I don't know what old school GM would overpay to get him.

To be honest, if they retained 1m I would consider it. I think we could get something better for kappy though.

The defence isn't really the problem, its the team defence. I figured edmonton fans would understand that since currently their team defence has been much stronger than it has been in years. Larsson was caved in on a nightly basis last year and really has nothing in his career that shows him as anything more than a bottom 4 defenceman. He's probably best suited to be a #4 on a team. He isn't a top pair guy and never has been.

Me too. Larsson isn't terrible, by any means. I actually would like him but only if the cost to obtain him was fair. Kapanen for Larsson is not fair.
