Description
They can also sign one of the numerous UFA goalies out there if UPL isn't ready

Holy sh*t this team has so much garbage on it lol, I mean most of them are decent depth players, and having that kind of depth is nice, but it's not good when that depth takes away top 6 spots from more deserving players, or takes away roster spots/time from youth for marginal upgrades, like BUF isn't winning the cup this year without drastic moves being made, why not let guys like Ruostalainen or Jokiharju play more, then let all the vets contracts expire, go out, get that legit top 6 forward, maybe sign a goalie, move out any of the remaining depth guys (or keep 1-2 to stay on the fourth line, but no more than that, or if you want to keep them, don't play them please) and while this team that I made for next year probably isn't quite as good as the one they currently have, A. We don't know that, and B. It certainly has a much brighter future, and room on the roster for Cozens, Pekar, and whoever they get in 2020, and it's not like they don't have depth now, Okposo likely tries to make a comeback, and they still have guys like JS DEA, and Pekar might get a few games, and it's not hard to sign 1-2 more fringe AHL/NHL guys for league min, then waive them and call back up if needed

Decline deals with Montreal and Edmonton. Risto looked better this season, if he still played not with McCabe, but with Pilut, for example, he would have looked even better. It makes no sense to trade Mittelstadt for whatever it is, he has the potential, even if we traded it, it was in some kind of big deal or one on one for such a player like Jost or something like that. Sorry, but it’s immediately obvious that you are not a Buffalo fan and you don’t really know what this team needs.

oh yea i agree Risto is far from the player people think he is, my problem is more with the other trades. Fiala is finally finding his game and it wouldnt make sense for the Wild to trade him for another project. The EDM one is really bad. I dont care how bad hes playing but you should never trade a top 10 pick that is still incredibly young for a 3rd rounder and a couple of AHLers
