Description

Montreal is in need of a top 6C. At 4M Turris becomes a pretty good deal for what he provides. Nashville retains 2M and gets picks in return.

With most of Turris' deal off the books, Nashville still needs a game changing player in the top 6. Nashville packages Granlund (NJD can re-sign or flip at deadline for more picks), Tolvanen, Carrier, and a pair of 1sts for Hall (extension pre-negotiated).

Following season, Hall and Josi new deals make extending smith likely impossible...so the bottom 6 will undergo much change.
