Looks like you turned a 5-10 year contender into a 1 year contender.. unless the cap goes up 20 mill

Seriously, there's a lot of raises due and not enough money to go around. If you sign hall there's no need to trade for drouin and vice versa. I also think you're overpaying for druoin, he's never had over 60 points why is he worth zads and a first?

To be perfectly honest, when this team was healthy they were undefeated.. why bring in drouin or hall? Drouin isnt doing as well as their current second line wingers, neither is hall for that matter.
The avs 1st line amd 4th line are among the league leaders, the 2nd line looks good makar and girard are playing amazing, grubauer is now a true number 1... let's see what a healthy team can do before we sell the future and cap space for an expensive secondary piece

I feel some forget our recent draft picks. Great chance Bowers will be ready for nhl. Good chance newhook might come out. Kaut always has chance. I see cam morrison could split time with nhl and ahl.

Yeah i agree, once we get everyone back it will be the same momentum boost as bringing in a new player. Rants is gonna miss a quarter of the season soon and that's a huge blow to the offense. The depth has been great, Burky and Donskoi are 3&4 in scoring on the team, and we're still winning more than we are losing without rants and landy.

Yep... with rants, landy, and grubs out they went in survival mode but when they get all those guys back I'm hoping they just continue to tear it up... imagine boston lost marchand and pastrnak, would they have done as well??

Shows that sakics gamble on depth seems to have paid off in the early part of the season

No kidding, i was at the edmonton game last thursday and it wasn't our best game but if it takes mcdavid and drai having career nights to beat us i think we're doing pretty well.

Best player in the league vs our banged up team starting the 4th string goalie, we were eventually going to get majorly outplayed... just glad that Werner played great against WPG
