Just wondering would you guys be willing to do a trade of Formenton and a pick for Stecher? The trade gets you a 2nd pairing D man in his prime by only surrendering a forward prospect which you have an abundance of.

Probably not. The Sens don't need D-men in their prime right now, and as decent as Stecher might be, the Sens seem to have high expectations for Formenton that vastly outweigh what Troy brings to the table. He's a lower end 2nd pairing D and would be on a team that has too many guys that could fit that label/could develop into that. Adding on a pick is just the sugar on top of a probable no.

Asking a bit much for Tierney and Pageau.

Tierney won't land that. Pageau is worth a little less. IMO, Tierney can land a 2nd + 3rd. Or 2nd and prospect. I'd like to keep Pageau but if someone is offering a 1st in this years draft, I'd jump all over that.

Yeah now that I look at it the return for Tierney seems way too high, and Pageau was reportedly gonna return a 1st and a prospect but probably a slightly worse prospect. I'm gonna edit my post and change it.
