Columbus has full control over Anderson next year, he is 1 year removed from a 27 goal season (nearly 50 point year) and plays a really physical solid 2-way game. He also cost 1/3rd the cap, Galchenyuk is a pending UFA forward that is struggling to produce while playing with 2 generational centers. You are lost if you think Pittsburgh doesn't add picks here

Sorry. But no from Columbus. Only if Alex comes with an extension. Also I don’t thing trading Anderson in division will ever happen.

I don't care about the stats. Anderson is a better player. CBJ declines.

yeah, they need that bully power forward or defense men. You are starting to see why. The second Gudbranson was traded the **** begins.
Teams take liberties as they say.

It's only a matter of time before GMJR brings in someone to fill that role. The question is who and where do they fit in.
They need a "answer to" to person and they don't really have one.
Some ****, different year. This is why I didn't like the fact that they traded gudbranson rather than JJ, even if JJ is playing much better.
Right back to square 0 and probably another dumb move to try to "fix" it.
Unless they can play LD, and involve trading JJ Out, you are probably looking at a forward, which they already have tons of NHL level guys.
But I don't see them going through the playoffs without someone like that and winning.

Amen bro, Ive been saying it since Guddy was traded.... need at least 1 guy that can be a force out there to "stick up" or maybe just let other teams kno that we can fight back... I love the depth of this team but my god are we soft.

LOL, guessing u dont like him? I think he is a good player tho, I really like how hard he plays... is he a skilled player - No, but the Pens NEED a player like him. We are soft as butter on a 95 degree day

The pens have plenty of players that play hard. Anderson is just as tough as hornqvist, rust, tanev, Aston Reese. They are all hard to play against but no one is actually scared of them.

He at least tries. Anderson isn't the answer. There probably isn't an answer out there. Those type of players don't really fit into the pens style of play.
