Friberg will never get another contract in the NHL, and Henrikson won’t get a contract. Also I’d sign a backup to compete with Primeau in training camp just to be safe. Also you should probably re-sign Evans, Juulsen, Vejdemo, and Belzile among others. Also Jesse Ylönen, Joni Ikonen, and Arsen Khisamutdinov will get contracts next year. I’d also expect Caufield to get a contract.

I don't really see Arsen Khisamutdinov getting a contract. Agreed with Henrikson and Friberg.

Timmins did say that they would probably sign him next year. But if they don’t want to, it doesn’t matter if they wait a year or 2 since they have his rights indefinitely. He will be 22 at the start of next year though, and I’m pretty sure it would suit him better to play in the AHL than 3 minutes a night in the KHL.

Nice team, but to be a contender, they still miss:

1) a first pair 2 way LHD (Romamov might be him... Maybe... But not before 2-3 years..)
2) a LW scorer (Domi has a mean shot, but cant score with regularity)
3) Bigger/taller wingers for physical playoff hockey (Gally, Domi and Armia are far from enough)

Domi is worth 6,5 mil I'd argue.
