I don't really see the appeal.
Babs has his own issues.
Lots of petty crap with him. I don' t know why any organization would bring that it. He dragged that mess from Detroit right to TOR and I don't see how he doesn't drag it to CGY too.

There might be an old. style GM who might. take a flyer on him. But really he isn't a long term solution as coach for any team. My opinion for years has been he is terrible head coach as game manager. I think other hockey people can see that Babcock is an NHL head coach just. doesn't make any team better. So I say he never coaches in the NHL again.
Maybe he gets a head coach in those silly international tournaments. Players will listen to him for a few weeks, but that's about all the time players have for him.

Don't think Peters has been on the job long enough to warrant this sort of discussion. It's a bad start, sure, but I would wanna see if Peters can turn ot around. Last year looked like a saviour behind the bench after year 1. Wouldn't be too quick to dismiss.

Seattle certainky is a possibility, but there maybe a fit in Jersey.......

Seattle for Babcock

I think Seattle could be one of the few landing spots for Babcock. A place where he comes in and establishes some structure for a couple years and then he's gone as someone else needs to take the team to the next level. Kinda like ge did in Toronto. But like Pharrow points out, the book might be out on Babcock and teams might just want to avoid unneeded headaches.
