How can you know? He's quick to blame rookies but doesn't complain when it's a vet doing the same thing. Also the PP and PK are **** rn, but they keep using the same players/strategies. Cousins, Weal and Reilly shouldn't be on the PP... (Reilly had 5:58 PP TOI last night... after being healthy scratched 6 games) The 2nd PP looked good but they keep using this "1st PP unit"...

yea exactly

plus play Suzuki on centre again, he was good (i think) so your 2nd line would be Domi-Suzuki-Puljujarvi

Claude Julien has been nothing but fair with both Suzuki and Fleury this year. And saying that he doesn’t call out the vets is complete BS. Julien has not hesitated to call out players like Domi & Tatar when they make mistakes this year. Cousins isn’t on the PP, and Weal was 11th in PP TOI last night. Also the PK hasn’t been amazing, but it hasn’t been bad. The PP may not have the PP% that everyone fusses over, but it’s getting good scoring chances, and has been controlling the play and making good zone entries. To quote myself from earlier today:
Quoting: Kotkaniemi15
That’s because Drouin is out right now, and the habs don’t really have anyone else that fits that mold. The only true PP players @ the blue line on the team are Drouin, Petry, & Reilly. Domi is better suited to playing on the right wall or behind the net than at the blue line.

On Reilly being on the PP.

The problem is that Domi sucks on the wing.

Yes. His 2 worst games this year were when he was on the wing. Plus this:

IMO He was mad and wasn't skating as much... Suzuki was a better centre than Domi is.

Also best player to control from the blue line? Reilly ok lol

Julien doesn't run PP and PK. It's the assistants that run special teams. Don't blame Julien for something he doesn't do.

Suzuki has looked good at both Center and WIng this year. Domi looked lost when he went back to wing so play him where he is comfortable : At C

Also, Bergevin doesn't want Puljijarvi unless he's dirt cheap. MB has never been attracted to piss poor attitude, no matter how good the player was.

I wouldn't say Drouin ever really had a piss poor attitude that wasn't fair. He put up 10 points in 21 games and then was sent down to the AHL. He proved he belonged in the NHL, But Tampa sent him down anyways.

it's not his responsibility. This should be on Muller and Waite if you are going to blame any of the coaches. We are one of the best 5v5 teams in the league.

You know that theres an assistant coach for the defensemen and for the forwards so if I follow your logic Claude Julien does nothing...
