Johnson is kinda lost atm. Fresh start would be good for him imo. Also Flames need some solid C.

But that's what I'm saying I'm from Edmonton to not like Calgary is really much better plus we are playing better and have arguably the 2 best players in the nhl right now

In Calgary's current state? Doubtful, if they ride off yesterdays win and turn their season around, start looking like 18/19 flames then yeah i could see it. Johnson and his wife a from the north west region (east Washington), almost directly south of Calgary and Edmonton. He won his first ever professional championship under Calgary's current head coach Bill Peters and he would without a doubt get a top 6 roll

IMO, an American,,,even if was the North West isn't leaving a good situation for Edmonton. The Oilers have the likely the worse travel schedule in the league and once you get use a warm weather winter, you probably don't want to want an Edmonton winter.
Lightning have an interesting upcoming summer. They are over the cap and have so many NTCs or even M NTCs which allows the players to nix any practical trade.

No way Tyler Johnson would leave Tampa for Calgary, Zero percent chance of that happening.

Respect where respect is due. (You should know how hard this is for me -- I've never really "forgiven" the Oilers for beating my Islanders in 1984.)

Hey man islanders were a dynasty we just had to beat them to become the next dynasty respect though they were deadly! Both of our teams are looking good so far to so that's a bonus!

You can't imagine what it felt like to move from NYC to LA in the mid-80's, begin transferring my hockey interest to the Kings, and then hear that LA had acquired Wayne Gretzky! (If you look at my CapFriendly Profile, you'll see that he and I share the same birthday.)

It was truly amazing to see him in person, so you could focus on him instead of on the puck. I noticed right away that unlike almost every other hockey player I've ever seen, he would look up at the clock on the overhead scoreboard every fifteen seconds or so to see how long he had been on the ice. He did it with metronomic regularity.
