Lemiuex is better for us than Moore... just no need for him

Nothing of any interest to Rangers there beyond the 2nd and they can get that for Georgie from multiple teams. And they have no need to move him. Far better off letting Igor get a full season in AHL getting used to NA size rinks, game play, and life. Trade Georgie in the offseason. There is no hurry for them.

That’s such a outdated excuse. Didn’t you watched the recent video NYR posted about Shesterkin? He’s a full blooded pro who didn’t needed these adjustments, he stepped in immediately and became AHL goalkeeper of October and is one of the leagues best goalkeeper currently

He’s the best goalie not in the NHL....no question. And he’s NHL ready. But why bother? They don’t need him right now. Georgie’s trade value is not going to diminish in the offseason. The more Igor plays in the NHL the more they will have to pay him in 2 years. Keep in the AHL this year. Limit him to 25 games his rookie year and you keep his next contract down.

Unless they are blown away by an offer there is no need. They are in the drivers seat on this one. That offer does not blow them away...it blows.

i believe Igors contract doesn't slid because of his age.

He’s an RFA in 2 years. He will be 25 when signs his next contract so any contract he signs beyond 1 year deal will put him into UFA years. The more he plays and the better he looks the bigger his contract will be. And you are going to want to sign him long term next deal which also pushes price up as well.
