Canes should have traded Nieter when he hot last season. Suzuki just might be more productive than Neiter right now.
If Montreal was sure that KK, Poehling and Caulfied are going to good NHLer they might trade Suzuki. Montreal's current need is a LHD. So maybe it's Slavin the Habs would only accept.

That first definitely isn't equal to Suzuki. You also have to get something decent back for Lehkonen because he's not a pushover piece either.

Habs are as high on Suzuki as Canes are on Necas. Are you even entertaining moving Necas right now? Doubt it.
