Peg declines.

Kings might take 2nd and Krys. Keep the other 2. They are 48 contracts already. That would put them at 50. Doubt they want to max out on that deal.

Jets laugh at you and decline. They might even counter offer Sbisa + Perreault for nylander.

No way in hell do the Jets do that trade. Maatta is slow and they need to get some speed. The Kings won't do that trade because it's a robbery. That's a lot to give up for a UFA if you ask me, especially someone who hasn't been as great when they were in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Is Martinez that better than Määttä? Martinez Is 32. Yes in his prime a great defenceman. The Hawks don’t need another 30+ year old D man.

This isn't about comparing defencemen. Martinez is better. I don’t see how these deals make Chicago betters. The Jets would never make that trade. The Kings would say no to Sikura and Fortin. And I say no offering a 2nd and Krys for Martinez.
