We really don’t need D or RWs at this point. Maybe if we were to move 2 of Murray, Werenski, Nuttivaara, Kukan, Gavrikov or Harrington then maybe. And that’s just the left side.

Yeah, CLB needs forwards just like Edmonton does, probably not the greatest trading partner. The other thing is - why sign Kassian to a new contract only to give his spot to someone else? 1RW is not a position of need for the Oilers, so I wouldn't concentrate on that at all. The two biggest needs are 3C and 2W, and you've only solved 1 if those.

I like Anderson, but he doesn't really bring anything that Kassian doesn't already have. They have the same skill sets.

And Lavoie is coming who has similar size, speed and skills but a higher ceiling than both.
