Initial Creation Date: Nov. 25, 2019
Published: Nov. 25, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Get Josh Anderson in. The Bruins have elite scorers, (Marchand and Pastrnak) 3 legit Centers, a solid defense, the best goaltending tandem in the league, a sick PowerPlay, and some great defensive forwards, however we don’t have a physical presence in our top 6 like Washington, St. Louis, etc. We don’t need an enforcer, however somebody like Josh Anderson who can chip in 20 goals plus be a physical force will help tremendously. Not sure what the price would be, but I’d trade any prospect besides Vaak and Studnicka for him.

Don't see CBJ trading Anderson for that package. Not to mention, Anderson has 2pts in 16 games this year. Sure its great that he hits, but that style of play takes a toll on those kind of players and they tend to breakdown faster.

This is a good trade, but the bruins may be slightly overpaying. A grinder (even one as good as he has been) isnt worth a 1st, a good prospect, and a roster player. Especially in the down season he is having, it would be crazy to say he is worth more lol.
Id say Moore, Lauzon (or Fredrick if they want a center or Bjork if they want a winger), and a 2nd is more than enough especially with him struggling this season. Now you stick him on the wing with Krejci and Debrusk and I think he can really play well. Then he gets a little bit more money in the offseason, but that is cleared up by Moore's 2.75 and his current 1.85, (So thats 4.6) to work with which is more than enough for him (at this point I say he is looking at maybe 4 million (again grinders get less generally, and he isnt paying great right now)
