Believe it or not Steen isn’t the worst contract on the Blues. Steen has been a very effective player on the team it’s rather Allen’s contract is the worst.

This is very good, the only two I would change are Victor Rask and Subban... Yes Subban has a HUGE contract, but I think based on his skill level and the contracts being given out nowadays, he really does deserve it. Also His stats were diminished in his first year with the Preds, and now on a stinky Devils team it only makes sense that he isnt producing much. Lets reassess him next year and if he still isnt performing well than we will know.

id say both are bad contracts. 0 goals, 5 assists, in 17 games making nearly 6 million is a bad contract. he may be a very effective 2 way player, but when you're chasing 6 million in AAV there needs to be some production to back up the cap hit

Okay forget Goals think grit behind the net. He very quickly became the Blues grinder.

im not saying hes not an effective player, im just saying for his role he's overpaid. Steen at 50% retained would be a nice piece to have, but his current cap hit doesn't justify his performance. Its not like hes Lucic who even at league minimum I wouldn't play on a nightly basis.

His role might be overpaid rather be overpaid than an absolute cap dump in Allen...

yeah lol currently Faulk's contract isn't looking too hot either. idk why they even traded for him. creates such a long jam on the right side if they plan on resigning Peiterangelo

Do you see Allen getting moved? A team desperate for a goaltending change. I don’t think it would cost the team much to acquire him. It would be a marginal risk.

Just such a horrible trade. Edmundson is straight cheeks and Faulk is as bad or worse than Edmundson at even strength. Faulks only strength in his career was the powerplay and he’s not even on the first unit lol. Oh and he’s playing 6 minutes a night more than Dunn when Dunn is better at literally everything.

Jack Johnson has surprisingly been not that bad this year. He hasn't brought any offense but he's been pretty solid defensively.

I don't think we need to move him until the offseason but that would be on the basis if Husso is ready.
