I mean the guy isn't bad but he doesn't have a specific skillset that makes him good. He does everything ok, hes a super average player, I dont see anything that shows me he can carry a line or is more than a 3rd line guy.

It’s negotiable. Seny tough to figure. Looked like ? for 2 years in AHL. Comes up to bigs and looked pretty good before getting hurt actually. Not sure if he was hungry to prove himself or free to play his game rather than focus on developing 2 way game.

Why is Detroit bothering to move Zetterberg contract? One year left and they'll have plenty of cap space to eat it. And no Detroit probably isn't really interested in White

Its more like Ottawa takes the Zetterberg contract for free to get to the floor

This reeks of recency bias. White has been snakebitten and has dealt with an injury to start the year, it's not time for a trade cause he's struggled a bit. Think of the message it sends that he just signed a lengthy extension and we flip him a few months later. The kids are alright; relax.
