So why are you trying to trade white so badly?

Its blowing me away. He is 22 years old. Worst case scenario he's a very solid defensive 3rd line centre.

It's like nobody has ever heard of a sophomore slump before.

I hope it's not to do with that, he's still a reliable player and still developing. Just let him lol. I would expect the sens players to not have great statistical seasons.

Thank you! White is also coming off being injured and playing on the 3rd line (less minutes).

He hasn't been great offensively, but I think he's taken a big step defensively under DJ Smith. I think temporarily switching him to Wing will help the offense come this season.

Yeah that could help him but if he's going to be a Centre he should just play there. He's too good for the AHL. I just think it's perfectly reasonable to see some growing pains for the sens players. I'm not concerned at all.

I honestly don't know if he fits in as a Centre or a winger. I think the Sens will draft a centre in the 1st round (Byfield, Rossi, Lundell). That would make the top 2 centers Brown and 2020 1st. I think Norris will be a really really good 3C, and with White as a Righty, moving him to RW makes more sense.
