Is Dustin Brown HOF Worthy

Description
A Kings fan on social media suggested to me that Dustin Brown is a first ballot Hall Of Famer. Honestly, I think Brown is a really good player at what he does, he's a tough, physical power-forward who can grind in the dirty areas and generate puck possession. He can score goals and is effective in all situations. Has 2 cups, 1 silver medal and a Messier award for his leadership. However, I really don't think he's HOF worthy. This is a guy who's hit 30 goals and 60 points just once. He scores 0.55 points per game. To me, only the most exceptional players should get in, and his skill level and production just isn't enough.

If guys like Keith Tkachuk and Jeremy Roenick are not in, why should he?

What'd you guys think?

Lol didn't you kind of answer your own question then though? Maybe its semantics but if you feel he isn't worthy of being voted into the HOF than why would he deserve to be otherwise?

I think you may be thinking by me saying he is not worthy of being in the HOF that I think he is not a good player or something....quite the contrary. he's a good player, just not good enough to deserve to be in the HOF.

You're not paying attention to your own words. You said that Brown has done "nothing" to deserve inclusion in the HoF. I took exception to the "nothing." I think he's done something(s) -- some things that many other players, including those on your favorite team haven't done -- but not enough to merit inclusion.

Lol semantics semantics semantics.

So he's done some things but those some things aren't enough for inclusion? Yes you are right he has done some things in his NHL career. Those some things aren't enough to get him in the HOF however.

Btw if you are referring to Carbo and Gainey etc, I actually agree. i don't think they are HOF'ers. I think they are just good players.
