Pasta is way too early to tell. If he keeps at this current pace for another 8 years then for sure.

Marchand is the tough one. Right now, he's on a very similar trajectory as another fellow short man in Martin St. Louis who carved out a very good career. if he does, I don't think he'll be a first ballot, but after a couple years maybe. He needs to continue playing at this pace a few more years though to justify it.

I think Marchand has a shot if his pace keeps up and gets close to 800 points (currently at 559) with maybe winning another cup and continuing his individual success in the playoffs. Plus his international record is pretty special (4 combined GOLD in WJC, IIHF and World Cup). Maybe his rat face and reputation keep him out? Idk

Marchand will have to keep it up for another 2-3 (80+pts), but yes. He will get in. Pretty easily.

Carbonneau and St. Louis. got in Marchand should. Marchand will be ahead of Guy offensively and not that far behind defensively and he should be in the offensive ballpark of St. Louis - if not more points if he can keep it going at a moderate level into his mid to late 30's. He's about 100 goals behind St. Louis. which is about 2.5 years for him.

Marchand should finish his career with close to 1000pts.

Currently at 601 - these are all very low estimates in my opinion.
let's say he gets 100 again this year (On pace for 143.5 this year, so fair IMO) That bring him to 659.
32 years old - 80pts next year - 739
33 years old - 75 pts = 814
34 years old - 60pts = 874
35 years old - 50pts = 924
36, 37, 38 - = 25pts each = 999

Marchand has definitely been a really good player the last three or so years, but has had a very average career before that. I think his issues and suspensions would certainly play a part, though. I wouldn't vote for Marchand getting in. Bergeron being one of the better two way centers, and Pastranak lighting it up since day one are far more likely

If Marchand keeps it up until he's 38 or 40, then he'll get in. Very similar path in his career to St. Louis. If the vote was today, I wouldn't. I don't think his suspensions will come into play at all and they really shouldn't. If that was a reason to keep guys out then Pronger shouldn't have gotten in.

Short answer, ya, probably. He’s kind of defying the standard age progression. He’s still getting better. He’s elite defensively and offensively. I think he needs one of the following
3 more point per game seasons. OR
2 more 100 point seasons. OR
A major award. OR
Another title of any kind (cup, gold medal etc)
