Oilers need a third line centre and I keep hearing rumors with Savard. Benning can boost the right side since Columbus is stronger on the left side. Edmonton might have to add or find a different third line centre

I’d love to hear where those rumors are from. IMO the only reason Columbus would make this trade is after moving Savard and then needed a filler for a few seasons. Columbus would rather get a depth forward back though we have more of those then we know what to do with them.

Quality just is not there in the Wild trade in my opinion.

Zucker for 2nd, Yamamoto and JP seems fair but would think Wild want a 1st not 2nd.
Donato for Samorukov and taking on Gagner and Chaisson... no chance.

It’s not a question about value. There’s no need for Columbus to make this trade. We don’t need more Defenseman unless one or more is traded.

Columbus needs to get more high end talent by making a trade. They have a bunch of 2nd 3rd line players. Something like Murray or Nutivaara + Bemstrom or Foudy or Marchenko + Carlsson or Milano + pick for a top forward
