Stan says they're set

Description
I believe Stan and company will reward the men who have done their due diligence in Rockford, at least to start the year, (Hartman, Moose, Hino) and have posted impressive numbers while they were at it.

It’s only a matter of time before Motte and Schmaltz come up but history shows Q will want them to get some Rockford minutes under their belt before they come up and play a big role.

That 4th line is some big boy hockey with 6’4 Mashinter, 6’3 Rasmussen, and Mr. Tootoo. The Hawks finally have a big, physicality look to their bottom 6. We may see some hit numbers for a change this year.

D is going to be much more solid this year, and I bet Gus will see some time in that third pairing as well.

Kruger and Desy have always had great chemistry and I think Hartman can help play Shawzy’s defensive role on the line that shutdown top scorers in the 2015 playoffs (Desy-Krug-Shaw).

Kane will see time with Toews and Panik, and I truly think Panarin could spark some offense out of Hossa if Kane and Hoss flip-flop.

There are a few viable options still on the FA market but Stan has alluded to the fact that he likes the way our roster looks as is.

This leaves plenty of cap space for the usual trade deadline acquisition as well.

I like the thought process behind the selections, but I can't see any scoring coming from the 3rd and 4th lines. Tough call.

The Hawks have never needed and don't need the "big boy hockey" line. It has been proven many times in the last 10 years that BIG hockey doesn't win championships. You need one or two guys that can hit and be the tough guy presence on the ice.

And I have to agree that the bottom two lines here won't score goals.
