penguins won't do it, and no point for leafs to go for a starting goalie given the fact that they already have one. a better backup would be nice, but thats a bit overkill

Not even close to fair value for Murray, and leafs have 0 need for him. I can see leafs going for DeSmith or Jarry

I think the value is there, the retention is for one year. It’s a starter down on his luck, goalies rarely bring back massive returns.

Jarry would have been a great target in the offseason but I think it’s too late now. Even if the pens would move him it would be very inflated from a few months ago. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess.
