Zucc is a bad contract but not awful. He can still play he just doesn't fit with the Wild. Mats doesn't play a overly physical game so he shouldn't have major decline. If Wild were trying to dump Rask you could ask for Kaprizov, but you would be adding Kravtsov and your 3rd would be a 1st. Asking for Kaprizov is like asking for Kakko.

Buddy that made no sense... mats has a way longer contract at a way higher cap than rask how in that case are u saying ud add kirill but in this case while getting back Kreider, howden and a 3rd u would say no. Also not to mention I was gonna have this come with an extension for kreider

I guess what I'm saying is Mats has value. Rask has negative value. Mats has 6 mil for 5 years rask has 4 mil for 3. Mats contract is only bad because it is 5 years and he is 32 already currently he is only slightly overpaid. Rasks contract is bad because he sucks, always has always will.

All terrible. Would rather buyout cyclops next year rather than semi retired floating cancer. Georgiev over 1yr Hank and Fast is gold, instead of pix that might turn into them in 4yrs. Lundkvist won't be ready next yr and Keane either, if ever. Should resign ADa then flip in 1-2yrs. We can't resign Kreider, see Zuccs albatross term, no thanks. Also Kirill could be next PuljPulj for all we know, not worth Zuccs term. It's all about next yr & future. Not sure why you build old, flaky, maxed out, defenceless teams? We have skilled top 6 Fs, we need big, relentless checking bottom 6 Fs ie Sundqvist. Here, we'd have to carry bonuses to next yr and this looks like we'd be way over cap going forward...

The only contract that is “bad” is zuc. There’s no difference between staal and kovi and why wouldn’t u have kovi play on ur last like instead of staal who’s scratched and sucks no offense. Are defense is legit the exact same except for keane whose looked great and next summer we have keandre and nils lundquist coming in to compete for spots. This team is stacked and while zuc is on a bad contract he is the one “risk” that would be on this team. News flash... they ain’t keeping Georgiev especially with the way he’s been playing lately as well as Deangelo bc Fox is a god there’s no need to sign a guy long term when we have prospects who can fill the role. Cap wise for next season even if the cap only goes up by a mil that means we will have 2.7 mil just to resign lemieux and strome... and likely they’ll trade smith anyways after the bonuses are paidd
