Unfortunately it's a cap league. Besides way too much to give up goalie who has won just three playoff rounds in his career, and it's even questionable who is the better goalie now at this stage of their career Price or Grubauer.

it's like you're trying to revive the Nordiques-Canadiens rivalry with this kind of trade or trigger the Avs fans from AGM

then again...even IF the Avs wanted to get Price, Habs would've to retain a portion of his contract.
If they wanted to get an established goalie, they could sign FA Braden Holtby in the summer at a cheaper contract if the Caps think Samsonov is the next starting goalie....

On the other side, if Price can't do his job in Montreal properly, do you really think Keith Kinkaid or Charlie Lindgren would do a better job?

god montreal fans are the worst. Grubi is better than price right now....deal with it.
So how does Price get the Avs to the cup...didnt know downgrading in net makes your team better, you would assume you want the better goalie in net, and thats Grubauer at the time in their careers

Wow don't do that. Having a goalie for half the price (pun intended) puts a couple better player in front of the grubauer. The avs are set to have one of the best young cores in the league. Don't mess that up lol
