Salary Cap Mode: Basic

Despite the struggles the sabres are only 3 points off of 2nd in the Atlantic and just behind the last playoff with 50+ games left. I think they are fine they have been hit with the injury bug hard and its been difficult to find any sort of consistency. I think a few moves that add to the forward group and relieving some of the excess D the team can easily switch gears.
The team has been playing much better as of late they just need some puck luck and stop breaking down for 5 minutes in every game

First i would Mittelstadt to a wing with Jack and see if that can open up his offense since he has been struggling, reunite Skinner and Eichel I think that line would put up some numbers. Bring in Tierney and Smith to create 3 solid lines of scoring. Dropping Reinhart to 3rd to be the main puck mover on that line with Olly to finish.

I might be off on the trades let me know what needs to be added. I can already hear Sens saying they dont need scandella, but he is not the main part of the deal the 2nd and B prospect is. Scandella only has 1 year left so you can even flip him to a contender at the TDL.
