I can't see New Jersey both retaining AND giving you a fifth-round pick for two guys, neither of whom may play a game in the NHL this year and one of whom is 32 years old and may never be an effective NHLer ever again, and a third. Simmonds has played in all 24 games for the Devils this year and reasonably fulfilled expectations.

Its a rental, the bruins are overpaying with zboril and the third alone. Miller is a terrific defensive dman that can move the puck well, people who dont watch the bruins would know that, but its the truth. Overpayment on the bruins part, take out the third and the 5th and its a good deal for both sides

You're ignoring my point that New Jersey risks Miller not being any kind of "defensive dman" whatsoever this year, or ever again. If I'd watched the Bruins every game for the past two seasons, I would have noticed that Miller played only 39 games last year and hasn't played a game this year, so I wouldn't know that he "can move the puck well."

Lol im a bruins fan, i watched every game. what has kept him on the bruins roster over the past few seasons (when healthy) has been the fact that he moves the puck incredibly well for a defensive dman, but also plays a HUGE game. So dont try to explain something to me like that when you are wrong. Injury would be the only concern, but I believe the only reason they are not activating him is the same reason they arent activating John Moore, they are too deep at defense, and dont have the cap space (because they needed to bring in players due to injury.) Please come back with facts next time you would like to try to discuss with me, it susually helps

None of which is responsive to my points. I give up. You win. I'll go elsewhere for intelligent insight.
