Interesting... I hate Galch and really really want him gone (i wanted him out of ARZ over the summer, he went to PIT, please tell me this doesn't mean he'll go to CAR/ANA) but I also hate Risto...

Why are we trading Risto for rent? I think Risto is not on trading block right now.

Trading him for help up front and he is the only D that we aren't keeping for the future with value. If Gal doesn't work and we dont sign him we still get a pick out of it. I dont think its worst case scenario but considering the report from Calgary risto isnt going to get a big return without adding picks and prospects and I just dont know if that's worth it right now

Penguins likely looking the shed salary (Bjugstad, Galchenyuk) rather than taking on years and a lot of money for a player that isn't worth that.

So is it worth it to trade if it does not have much value? I’m fine if Risto will play 20 minutes a night paired with Pilut or Montour. Obviously, Botts will not trade him unless there is a good return.
