Yes on all three from where I sit as a Leafs fan. Not so sure how the other teams involved would feel about it. (Actually, I'm quite sure).

This fixes the Leafs most glaring problems. Cap flexibility, a true Top Pairing RHD for Rielly that isn't a pure UFA rental, and an NHL Quality Backup.

CBJ would have to be really high on Johnson. (I'm not sure if that is the case).

NYR would have to be sure they have their new backup ready to go because Hutchinson has no NHL value.

Carolina probably declines. Petan has been waived twice this year without any takers.

Nice line of thinking though. Finally some logic.

Or CBJ realizes and believes there is value in Ceci who would draw a 3rd or 4 the rnd pick they can flip at the deadline

But they wouldnt realize that because he wont, competing teams dont have cap space. Only team that might trade for him is Nashville who can probably find a better option.

In my books Desmith before Georgiev.....his stats are showing Hutchinson & Kaskisuo level of efficiency between the pipes....

Either one is fine with me at the prices listed above.

6-4-1 3.07 GAA and .912 SV in the NHL is better than 0-5-1 4.55 GAA and .876 SV. Which is where we are sitting right now with a better team in front of him. Like I said, at those prices... sign me up!

Columbus says thank you for the offer but Ceci has no value with his current cap hit and we’d like to decline this trade.

That is pretty much what I figured the response to be. Thanks for clarifying.

Its a no from NYR on the Georgiev deal they see him as the future in goal after the King retires.

There is no way the Leafs trade Johnsson for savard and Milono hes on a wonderful contract for what he will bring to this team. Also i dont get this Leaf fan bandwagon hating on 1 or 2 players every single year. This year its Ceci who in my opion after watching every game is playing great and doing exactly what is expected of him. 100% the leafs are going to try and lock him up on term with a 3 or so million dollar deal. With all that being said if josh Anderson or a 1st rounder is added to this deal the leafs would talk about it.

The Carolina deal is a workable one and has potential to get done
