I like it. I think it adds more incentive for a contending team to pony up a bit more when they’re getting two pieces in return.

Then again, if I’m the Rangers I’m trying to extend Kreider, but I understand that that’s not totally up to them

Say Kreider is worth a first (as PIT, I definitely wouldn't give a first for him) ZAR>>>>>Fast, ZAR has been spectacular this year (though apparently nobody wants to hear that, he doesn't put up PPG totals, he only shuts down opposing teams top lines consistently, which is odd bc NYI did exactly that to us in the playoffs last year, they didn't out score us, they out defensed us, but whatever, I'll just keep defending ZAR like he's defending other teams star players)

That is a brutal trade for NY.
Ashton-Reese??? Keep him he is definitely not better than Fast.
