As a Caps fan I hate this. Not just for the fact I don't want anyone hurt ever, but what will probably happen is you'll miss the playoffs, win the draft lottery, then come back fully healthy next season with freakn Byfield or Lafreniere.

They're taking offers on Jarry - not DeSmith. That's why Tristan has been playing. They're selling him to Toronto or New Jersey (my belief, no source). I feel like he's a fit there in a Hall deal (Jarry, Addison/Poulin/Legare, Rust and a 1st in 2020) OR to Toronto for Barrie (Jarry,Schultz for Barrie).

Buffalo philly Toronto Tampa Florida. Assuming Washington Carolina and NYI stay at the top of the metro. Coast in? Penguins need to stay above water and even then they are losing important players every other week. It’s not an insult it’s just realistic. Dumo is their best defensemen and that defense is week as it is. Tough loss. I hope they make it bc this is a scary team when healthy
