i was reading and it sounds like the rangers offered andersson for Puljujärvi straight up and edmonton turned it down. edmonton wanted a high pick a long side andersson.

This is and will be the highest return the Oilers and Holland should realistically expect. Andersson was a high 1st round draft pick too and is a year younger......

The problem I understand though is that EDM's PR has to "WIN" this trade. That's whats holding up what should be pretty solid offer if this was really offered. Any GM who is contemplating offering more is not a smart GM IMO.

howden is going to have a much better nhl career over andersson. there isn't anything andersson does better then howden.

Prediction: Trade happens at the draft. Boston, NYR, CAR final 3 teams. Gauthier, Andersson, JFK, are offers and then whoever gives the best pick gets him because Oilers need to win it
