They turned down 2nd and either Scandella or Bogosian. This is not really any better.

If the Sabres played just the Leafs the rest of the season, yep the Sabres should be buyers. But Sabres are likely destined for lottery pick, so they should be sellers, and not giving up young assets.

How is that? An extra pick and taking on 2 F’s to test their value.

Dude their like a point out of a playoff spot. Getting Toffoli and offloading these bums kinda help

Assuming you are a Sabres fan, you already know the value of Sobotka and Larsson. So does the rest of the league...

The forwards are of no value, they are actually less value than the D man, the 4th makes up the difference so it’s basically the same deal.

LA fans have told me they have tons of players coming up from the farm. What else is enticing other than our unmovable first???

I don’t know. They are the ones that declined. Reason being was to see if they can get more. ??‍♂️

To me his value is a 2nd and mid level prospect. Apparently they feel they can get more.

I’ll believe it when I see it. The value is fair for him I believe

Team is trying to fight for playoffs, let Toronto sell, if you so wish.

It will take a 2020 2nd round pick and an expansion draft exempt B prospect. Someone like Samuelsson.

Any trade at this time has to be money in = Money out . And no way they move Samuelsson. With his play at Western Michigan and USA junior team he has become an A prospect.

Kings can certainly take back a short term cap dump if necessary, but if the trade happens at the deadline, Toffoli's
pro rated cap hit will be negligible, so I'm not sure it's necessary.

You have to give up something good to get something good. If all you're offering is castoffs, then there's no way the Kings will agree to a trade.

Something good would be the key words I your statement . A rental of Toffoli ? Maybe Bryson who is a good b level prospect . Playing very well in the AHL

I'm just don't think Toffolli will help the Sabres. Yea, one point out of the playoffs but falling. Make the trade if you really think Toffolli is difference maker and the Sabres are the October club not the November club.

I don't know much about Buffalo's pipeline. If Bryson is expansion draft exempt and a B level prospect, then that could work.
