I'd rather have Perlini over Bjugstad. Neither of them are playing very well and Perlini is a lot cheaper. Since Detroit has to resign just about their whole team taking on Bjugstad making $4.1M a season would hurt the Wings more than it would help.

I wonder if teams are gonna be smarter about this expansion draft and ship out guys for less then they're worth but still something decent rather then losing them for nothing to Seattle or using them as a 'sweetener' for Seattle to take some dead cap weight off their hands.
Like if Pittsburgh decides Jarry is the guy to go forward with trade Murray like it's been proposed here.

You lost me at willingly signing Ceci. We're you just liking for someone that is actually worse than Jack Johnson?

Why can’t the pens keep both Murray and Jarry?

Because this fanbase hates having two good goalies and always must sacrifice one. i am so done with these morons who think Jarry will be a better option that Murray. Holy idiots I cannot contemplate the stupidity. Absolute ****s.

They cant keep both because they wont be able to afford them. Murray has been inconsistent this season and Jarry has played a lot better. Watch your games and view stats buddy! If Jarry doesnt work then DeSmith can come in and play well in relief. last season DeSmith played most of the games in December because Murray wasn't playing well

I would rather have him than Johnson. JOHNSON IS THE WORST PLAYER IN THE NHL

EXACTLY!!!!! I dont think the Pens will Protect Murray. We are going to lose one of our 3 goalies. I would trade Murray and DeSmith to seperate teams where they can thrive in a better role

I have not missed a single penguins game so far since the start of last season, so believe me im watching my games, buddy! You cant take a small sample size of Jarry and extrapolate it into a full season and future. With that logic may as well sign Scott Foster to a huge contract with those career stats. DeSmith is a back up, he is not a starter at the NHL level. A great backup but not a starter. Jarry has done nothing to prove that he can be a starter. Not saying he wont be, just he has not done anything yet. You are using a small sample size to make changes in the organization that could possibly sink us. If ur solution to murray not playing well is having a jarry desmith tandem then yikes, re-evaluate your life and never even think of becoming a GM

They have 20 million in cap space next year...and that’s without a salary cap increase. How can’t they afford both?
